Congratulations Jeff! This well-done and sensitive work has been chosen as a feature in the Pacific Northwest Artists group on Fine Art America (it had to be)! You are invited to post "For Manchester" to the featured image discussion thread as a permanent place to continue to get exposure even after it is no longer on the group home page.

Beautiful!
Jeff Burgess replied:
Thanks so much Iordanis. According to surveys taken in Europe Pink is the color most associated with charm, sweetness, softness, childhood, the feminine, sensitivity, and tenderness. It is a color of childhood. This is the symbolism of this color in this work.

beautiful work, wonderful tribute, ... for hope and peace!
Jeff Burgess replied:
Thanks. The poppies in this work symbolize beauty, magic, eternal life, and peace. See above for the symbolism of pink I used.

Just beautifull!!!!
Jeff Burgess replied:
Thanks so much. I have much pain for those who died and those who lived to witness as well as those who grieve for their children and parents.
