Description
Another lighthouse up in the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest. I happened to catch some kayakers off the point. This image can be enlarged greatly with good resolution. There is wonder associated with light houses. And many are still in operation and have actual 'keepers' that live on the premises and make sure the light is in good order. Previously they were called 'wickers' when the lighthouse light was from a wick that needed tending to each night.

Thanks Joe. Seeing the kayakers juxtaposed with this rocks and lighthouse was amazing.
