Another in my series of tulips at the Skagit Valley and Mount Vernon. A fusion work with purple tulips and also a bed of orange tulips to seperate the greens and pink/purples. I do love the combination of green and pink/purple. This color combination was very much the rage during the Art Deco period of art.
The tulip festival is a wonderful event that occurs for 2-3 weeks in April or May depending on the winter and warmth of spring. The region occasional floods in the fall and spring
