Description
Fusion photography. Another in a series of mythical landscapes. Nature is incredibly complex and dynamic on a biologic and metaphysical level. I wanted to portray this complexity through this fused medium. All photographic elements are my own. The image has been extensively manipulated via multiple filters and other strategies. The background image is of Mount Ranier, or as the native population of Washington State calls it "Mount Tahoma". Flowers are found in Washington State and the Pacific Northwest. All of them were imaged in my neighborhood and the beautiful gardens surrounding Revenna. The arch is in the backyard of a home that is otherwise in neglect. I don't think they have any idea of this most beautiful object that is there. It connects nothing. I wanted to transform it into a place where it can find its own identity.

Hey....this little gnome was there already....and I didn't have to add it to the image. Cool, eh? Thanks for the vote and comment.
