Description
What is revealed behind doors is the unknown. I love the combination of elements here as well as the vibrant colors. The sheer joy of color creates a unique, beautiful, and expressive scene. Although I don't often like to get technical, the door is from a photo taken by a friend in Bhutan (with permission to use) and the flowers from a capture I took in an alley in Anacortes, Washington. The wall from comes from a shoot I did in Mexico. This fused work combines my interest in unusual doors and colorful flower gardens. The combination of Hollyhocks and roses is unusual and supports the mystery of this imagined place.

That lovely wooden, painted green door with the Bhutanese motifs blends well with the flowers and the yellow wall. It's like a film still. Nicely done! L/F
